MDO Caregiver

We are looking for a teacher!  Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 am to 4pm.  The school is open along side the regular session of CISD yearly schedule. 

Job Description

The Mother’s Day Out Caregiver/Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, healthy, and loving environment for children so they can grow physically, emotionally, mentally, socially, and spiritually.

Duties Include:

Be familiar with and follow established Mother’s Day Out policies and procedures.

Work according to the daily schedule, activities, and programming.

Maintain a happy atmosphere where each child may come to know his/her limitations.

Give each child the attention needed to assure his/her best welfare. (This relates to eating, toileting, sleeping, and playing).

Maintain a clean and orderly room throughout the day.  Cleaning each classroom, shared materials and spaces daily will be scheduled among all MDO employees.

Make note of significant incidents and/or experiences observed in a child, in writing, and turn into the director as they happen.

Inform the coordinator of needed supplies, repairs, and/or materials on the designed Needs Sheet.         

Attend all training sessions provided. These will include CPR/First Aid, policy review, and quarterly staff meetings.

Pray regularly for our students and families.

Physical Demands:

Kids are busy people! Leaders must be able to walk, stand, sit, reach, bend, stoop, kneel and able to lift 35 lbs. frequently.

 

This is a part-time position which reports to the Mother’s Day Out Director.
